Hannah Miller (triple jump, long jump, 800m) and Fany Pecout (100m) took home wins while the teams posted 12 other top-five performances. Maddix Mueller (triple jump), Jordan Lamack (high jump), two relays, and Isaac Schlies (300m hurdles) won their events while there were 19 other top-five performances. The girls were strong as well, taking second place as they came 23 points from toppling their hosts as well. The boys won the meet with 187 points, 72 points more than second-place Marinette and 87 more points than the host Bulldogs. The Kewaunee boys track team continued their dominant spring on Thursday, this time winning the Peshtigo Invitational. The Spartans improve to 15-1 on the season. Kate Van Ess threw one inning striking out two. Savannah Jandrain earned the win allowing just one hit and striking out three in two innings. The Spartans then ended the game in the bottom of the third scoring their final two runs on hits by Dorner, Rylan Kaminski, Kate Van Ess and Hanmann. The second inning went in a similar fashion with L-C adding five additional on hits by Hanson, Josie Dorner and Jillian Jorgensen. The Spartans jumped out to the early lead scoring seven runs in the first inning on hits by Grace Kahr, Kylie Hanson, Kate Van Ess and Maggie Hanmann. In game two Luxemburg-Casco took care of business in three innings. Kate VanEss also threw two innings, allowing no hits and striking out four. The righty allowed three hits and one run over two innings, walking one. Savannah Jandrin started the game for the Spartans. Cain led the Foxes with three hits in four at bats. Macy Jean Cain and Avery Steffes each had multiple hits for Fox Valley. Blob surrendered ten runs on nine hits over three innings while striking out two. The Spartans scored two runs in the fifth and five in the sixth and final inning with Rylan Kaminski and Jillian Jorgensen each knocking in two runs.īrooklyn Blob took the loss for the Fox Valley Lutheran Varsity Foxes.
Jillian Jorgensen, Grace Kahr, Payton Kaminski and Kylie Hanson all had hits in the third to add four more runs. The scoring continued in the second inning when Kylie Hanson hit a three run shot over the left field fence.
Luxemburg-Casco Varsity Spartans got things started in the first inning by scoring three runs. Luxemburg-Casco collected 15 hits on the way to defeating Fox Valley Lutheran 17-6 in the first game of their double-header on Friday.
